Who we are

Faveez is a service for making wish lists and gift lists and sharing them. In these terms, "Faveez", "we" and "us" mean the people who run Faveez. You can reach us at hello@faveez.com.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Faveez, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Faveez.

Who can use Faveez

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If the law where you live sets a higher age to agree to these terms on your own, you must meet that age.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You choose a handle, which is public and appears in the links to your lists.

Your content

Your content is what you add to Faveez: lists, items, notes, comments, suggestions, pictures and your profile. You keep all rights to it. You give us a worldwide, free license to store, copy, show and share your content only as needed to run Faveez and to show it to the people you share it with. If you make a list public, anyone can see it, and search engines can find it. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already received or that we must keep by law.

You are responsible for your content. Only add content that you have the right to share.

Links from an affiliate or partner program must be marked as affiliate links.

Rules

Do not use Faveez to:

• break the law or help someone else break it;
• harass, threaten or insult other people;
• post hateful, violent, sexual or misleading content;
• post someone's private information without their permission;
• send spam or scams;
• infringe someone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• attack, overload or scrape Faveez, or get around its limits or security.

Reports and moderation

You can report a list that breaks these rules. We may hide or remove content, or suspend or close an account, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law. When we can, we will tell you why.

Product links and prices

When you paste a product link, Faveez reads the shop's page to fill in the title, picture and price. This information comes from the shop and can be wrong or out of date. Faveez does not sell products. Any purchase happens on the shop's website, under the shop's terms. Some links added to a list can be affiliate links. Faveez suggests the mark when it recognizes one, and the person who added the link confirms it.

Gifts

Marking an item as bought is a help for the people who share a list. We do not guarantee that a gift was bought, delivered or kept secret.

Changes to Faveez

Faveez is new and changes often. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Faveez is free today. If we ever add paid features, we will tell you first, and you will choose whether to pay.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms.

No warranty

Faveez is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will always work, be error-free, or keep your content forever. Keep your own copy of anything important.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or gifts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes the rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using Faveez after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of the district of Montréal, Québec. If you use Faveez as a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring a claim before your local courts.
